Vaccines and microchips
- Miami-Dade Animal Services (opens in a new tab) runs a walk-in vaccine clinic at the Doral shelter, with lower prices for people on public benefits.
- Humane Society of Greater Miami (opens in a new tab) offers vaccines, exams and preventives (not treatment for sick or injured animals). Call 305-696-0800.
Spay and neuter
- MDAS spay/neuter (opens in a new tab) for Miami-Dade residents, at clinics in Doral and Homestead. Free for veterans with a DD-214.
- ASPCA Community Veterinary Clinic, Liberty City (opens in a new tab) offers lower-cost spay/neuter, exams, vaccines and microchips for Miami-Dade residents. Call 844-692-7722.
Help paying for urgent care

It's OK to ask for an estimate, to ask which treatments are most urgent, and whether a payment plan is possible. Vets would rather know up front.
