Pawsome Pooches
Every week we feature dogs who are ready for adoption or foster in our community: at Miami-Dade Animal Services in Doral and Medley, the Broward County shelter, local rescues doing the work every day, and families who need to rehome safely.

Zeus & Star's story
Meet Zeus and Star, two Samoyeds who share a home. Their family reached out to us because they're struggling financially and need to find them new homes. This is a surrender case, so we're helping make sure they go somewhere safe and loving.
- Zeus is a 4-year-old male.
- Star is a 7-year-old female.
They can be adopted together or separately. If you'd love both, wonderful! If you have room for one, that's okay too. Just tell us which pup you're interested in.
No dog is adopted out unless they are spayed or neutered. Star is already spayed, and Zeus will be neutered before he goes to his new home. This protects them from ever being used for backyard breeding. Here's why it matters.

How to adopt them
Send us a DM on Instagram and tell us a little about your home, and whether you're interested in Zeus, Star or both. We'll connect you with their family and help make sure it's a safe match. Please note that no dog is adopted out unless they are spayed or neutered, so Zeus will be neutered before he goes home with you.
Bentley's Playhouse shares community dogs to help them get seen. We help screen and connect adopters with the family. Always meet the dog first and ask for vet records. Listed October 2, 2026.
